What years were you part of the club?

     I was a part of VAVA for my 17s and 18s seasons in 2025 and 2026

What originally drew you to join the club?
     I was originally drawn to VAVA because I loved the way the club approached volleyball. There was such a strong focus on strategy and thinking through the game, and I felt like it was a place where I could really grow not only as a player, but also develop the mental and strategic side of my game.

What did being part of this club mean to you?
    Being a part of VAVA meant a lot to me. I originally tried out as a libero, but Coach Sam believed in me and gave me the opportunity to transition to outside. Having a coach and a club that believed in me helped me regain so much of my confidence and reminded me how much I loved playing volleyball. I’m really grateful for the support I had during my time there.

What is your favorite memory from your time at VAVA?

     It’s honestly hard to choose one favorite memory from VAVA because I have so many. But my favorites would be getting Mcdonald's after every practice with my friends and talking and laughing for hours.

What have you been up to since graduating?
    Since leaving VAVA, I’ve had shoulder surgery, so unfortunately I haven’t been able to play. Once I finish physical therapy and am fully recovered, I’m hoping to try out for the Mason club team and continue playing!

How has volleyball stayed a part of your life?

     Volleyball has always stayed a big part of my life, even when I’m not playing competitively. Between coaching middle school volleyball, playing beach over the summer, and hopefully becoming a manager, I love finding different ways to stay involved with the sport.

Favorite food?
    My favorite food is sushi!!! Specifically from Gyu Shige in Mosaic.

Favorite movie/Tv show?
     My favorite movie is 10 Things I Hate About You, and my favorite show is Suits!

Dogs or Cats? 
    I’m definitely both a dog and cat person, but I’ve always wanted a cat.

Favorite color?
     My favorite color is pink.

Morning person or night owl?
    I am 100% a night owl.

​

Hobbies besides volleyball?
    Besides volleyball, I love working out and spending time with my friends and family.
